A 34-year-old Ghanaian man who requests to be anonymous has cried for help to end his alcoholism.
According to him, he has a wife and 3 children but end up spending any money he makes in alcohol.
Talking to Kwabena Boafo on Happy 98.9 FM’s Boneka Edition of NsemPii, he said, “I really want to stop drinking but I cannot and the funny thing about all this is that I only drink when I visit my hometown.”
He emphasized that he is unable to cater for his wife and children because of this.
“I only drink when I am outside Accra. I stay and work in Accra and I never drink when I am in Accra but as soon as I step foot in my hometown, I spend everything I have on me on alcohol.”
The man pleaded with Kwabena Boafo and the Boneka team to help him because on his own, he has made an effort to stop drinking but all to no avail.
