An ace broadcaster has indicated he will vouch for the intolerance of the ex-president John Dramani Mahama and his National Democratic Congress administration towards corruption when he was in government.
According to Kwabena Bobie-Ansah, former host of ‘Eko Si Sen’ socio-political show on Accra-based Asempa FM, ‘I know the level of intolerance of the ex-president towards corruption when he was in government.
I know the man personally and i can speak for his intolerance for corruption in government’ he said
He said it was under the ex-president that some profile corruption cases went to court and today the accused persons have been jailed.
It was under the ex-president that corrupt cases such as that of National Service Secretariat, GYEEDA among others were taken to court.
The ace broadcaster who is now studying to be a lawyer made this comment interacting with the Kwame Afrifa-Mensah on the ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show on Accra –based Happy FM.
It was under the leadership of the ex-president that cases of corruption were taken to court adding that this was a clear indication of how the John Dramani Mahama’s administration detest corruption.
I don’t want to sound tribal but it was under the leadership of the ex-president who is northerner himself when one of his own; Abuga Pele the Chief Executive Officer of GYEEDA was taken to court for causing financial loss to the state he stressed.
He indicated how he has known the ex-president and his level of intolerance for corrupt practices during his tenure.
He claimed that the ex-president does not need  the services of a special prosecutor to prosecute issues of corruption under his administration
He took the opportunity to caution the special prosecutor to work within his remit adding that he cannot work outside his remit as a state prosecutor.
