Ghana presented only 7 athletes in the ongoing 2024 Paris Olympic Games and they participated in four events namely 100 meters, 4*100 relay, swimming and high jump.

Benjamin Azamati and Abdul Rasheed Saminu who both competed in the men’s 100 meters finished bottom and 7th respectively in the semifinals thus missing out on winning any medal.

Rose Amoaninwaa Yeboah, the national record holder for high jump couldn’t progress to the finals after failing to jump the 1.92m height despite making three attempts.

In the swimming events, Joselle Mensah finished 4th (26.81) in the women’s 50m freestyle Heat 6 while Harry Stacey finished 7th in his heat with a time of 51.12 seconds and both couldn’t advance to the next stage.
