Ntim lost due to the hatred Nana Addo has for him – NDC MP

Member of Parliament (MP) for Nkwanta-North in the Volta Region, John Oti Bless, has said that Stephen Ayensu Ntim lost the National chairmanship race of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) due to the hatred he has for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo .
Mr. Ntim has attempted the position four times in the last 20 years but has been unsuccessful throughout.
He suffered a recent defeat to newly elected National Chairman of the NPP, Freddie Blay during the National Delegates Conference held on Saturday in Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
In the end, Mr. Blay emerged victorious after polling 3,021 of the total votes cast of 5563, whiles his contender    Mr. Ntim managed just 2,515.
Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show, Oti Bless said, “If you don’t think alike with Nana Addo, they will find a way to eliminate you, no matter who you are.”
“Afoko, Kwabena Yeboah and Sammy Crabb did their best in their campaigning and won position in the party but Nana’s hatred culminated in their elimination from the party and he [Nana Addo] is doing the same thing to Stephen Ntim now. Ntim lost because Nana Addo hates him,” he added.
Prior to the delegate conference, a leaked voice said to be that of Mr Stephen Ntim, suggesting to party supporters at a meeting in Koforidua that he [Ntim] has been asked by President Akufo-Addo to step down from the race to allow Alhaji Short to go ahead and win the national chairman position but later Alhaji Short redrew from the race.
Mr. Ntim also constantly accused Mr. Blay of ‘vote-buying’ after his opponent acquired some 275 mini-buses for all of the party’s constituencies.
However, Mr. Blay still managed to stand tall after winning the elections to become the NPP’s substantive National Chairman.
