HAPPY FM LAUNCHES ‘GHANA GO FOR GOLD’ 2017 AFCON CAMPAIGN

Happy FM, your number one sports station, has officially launched its coverage of the 2017 African Cup of Nations tournament.
The launch marks the beginning of the station’s countdown promotion ahead of the AFCON tournament in January 2017. The AFCON tournament is scheduled to take place in Gabon from January 17 to February 17 2017.
The promotion of the AFCON tournament will involve both on-air and on-ground sports activations aimed at raising enthusiasm and excitement of sports fans towards the tournament. It is also to motivate the Black Stars to go for the ultimate prize by winning the gold medal at the tournament.
Leading the pack of engaging activities Happy FM will embark on is the “Ghana Go for Gold’’ campaign which will be spearheaded by PJ Mozey, the host of the Anopa Bosuo Sports Show on Happy FM. He will embark on a flag signing national tour by paying courtesy calls on prominent individuals in the political, chieftaincy, business, diplomats, sports and media fraternities. The flag will finally arrive in Gabon to show allegiance and support of all Ghanaians to the Black Stars.
According to Mac Paradise Okocha of Happy FM, “the Ghana Go for Gold Pub Activation will also be a major activity during the tournament. Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy live broadcast of some best evening fixtures in an entertaining environment from some selected popular pubs in Accra.’’He continued that fans also stand the chance to win amazing prizes in the on-air predict and win competition during the AFCON tournament.
As is noted of Happy FM, a two member delegation of the sports team will visit Gabon and bring to its cherished listeners and the general public the best of commentary and live update around the tournament, Okocha added.
The Happy FM AFCON broadcast will ultimately feature the team profiling and daily analysis of all the participating teams. The sports team will analyze each team’s AFCON track records and their chances for the 2017 tournament.
