71 year old man sits for 2024 BECE examination

A 71 year old and father of Six Akwasi Baiden, is participating in the ongoing 2024 Basic Education Certificate examination at Ahafoman Senior High Technical School Centre B in the Asunafo North Municipal of the Ahafo Region. Mr. Akwasi Baiden registered as a private candidate and is determined to pass to enable him benefit from TVET under the Free Senior High School policy to secure a better future. He disclosed that his intention to return to the classroom is to motivate children who joke with their education.

He wants them to know that education is key and very important. He added that the world is advancing through technology so one has to upgrade himself through education in order not to lag behind as the world is moving forward.
” After completing JHS i will pursue Technical and vocational Education and Training (TVET) to equip myself”, he said.
