President Nana Akufo-Addo has cut the sod for the construction of a multi-purpose youth and Sports centre at Dambai in the Oti Region.

The President cut the sod for the construction of the 8,000 seater capacity stadium on Thursday.

Nana Akufo-Addo assured the people in the region that the facility will help bring development in the area and also their share of the national cake in the construction of the multi-purpose centres across the country.

“Sports is very important that’s why the government is constructing the multi-purpose youth centres of excellence in all the 16 regions and Oti region is about to also get their share”

“We need to find a way to get the youth jobs so the youth employment agency will open offices in the region so that people in Oti region will know whatever we are doing and they will have their share because they are Ghanaians.

The construction of the multi-purpose sports centres have already commenced and are expected to be completed soon.
