Former Sports Journalist Nkunta Akwasi Kwarteng has asserted that, he always regrets his actions after stealing from those closest to him.

The young man who happens to find himself in the unfortunate habit of stealing stated that, it is never his intention to steal from people but circumstances make him do so.

In an interview with Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s Nsem Pii, he said with regret, “It’s not intentional for me to steal and I don’t do it on purpose. It is not because I lack money or for the fun of it but I just find myself doing it”.

According to Akwasi, he has the capability to detect the whereabouts of money no matter how hidden it is. And once he does, he must take it.

Though he has tried on many occasions to quit this bad habit, he has been unable to do so.

“A couple of times, I’ve stolen from friends who have known me for long and they all can’t seem to understand why I started stealing suddenly”, he said.

He noted, “what baffles me is that I never take the whole amount I set my eyes on. But I only take some amount and feel remorseful afterwards only to steal again”.
