Black Stars striker,Richmond Boakye Yiadom, has revealed he will play Asante Kotoko before he hangs up his boot.

The 27-year old is currently a free agent after leaving Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade following the expiration of his contract in December last year.

Speaking in an interview on Happy Sports with Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy 98.9FM, Boakye Yiadom confirmed his love for the Ghana Premier League giants as he eyes a move in the future.

“I will come and play for Asante Kotoko before I retire”.

“I am a fan of the club and definitely I will play for at least a year before I retire. If you want to play for Kotoko you have to train harder and be consistent”, he added.

Boakye-Yiadom is currently back home as he awaits a move to a new club in the ongoing transfer.

Happy Sports understands that there are a lot of interest from some top European and Asian clubs who are ready to sign the talented forward.

Boakye Yiadom left Red Star Belgrade as a legend after scoring 60 goals in over 100 appearances for the club.
