Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Abubakari Damba, has picked Razak Abalorah as the best goalkeeper in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The Asante Kotoko shot-stopper has been in superb form in the ongoing campaign for his side.
Abalorah, since getting the opportunity to be in post for the Porcupine Warriors under Coach Johnson Smith has cemented his place as the team’s number one relegating captain Felix Annan on the bench.
The former WAFA goalkeeper kept his side in the game against arch-rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash on Sunday after saving a penalty.
Abubakari Damba in his observation on the performance of goalkeepers said Razak Abalorah is the best goalkeeper among the 18-Premier League teams in the ongoing season.
“Razak Abalora is my best goalkeeper so far in the league. To be honest, he is a very good goalkeeper. He has been outstanding in the league”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware on Wamputu Sports on Happy 98.9FM.
He also commended Great Olympics young goalkeeper Saeed.
“The young goalkeeper of Olympics, Saeed is another goalkeeper doing well. He has a big and bright future . If he gets the right guidance and remains determined and focused”.
