Emmanuel Gyamfi scored a brace to propel Asante Kotoko to a 2-1 win over Ebusua Dwarfs in this match day 24 fixture played at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors needed to win the game to keep their league title ambitions alive.

Dwarf took an early lead in the game through captain Dennis Nkrumah Korsah from a set piece.

Asante Kotoko quickly responded with a goal from Emmanuel Gyamfi who scored from a header.

It was a poor goal conceded by the Dwarfs Razak Issah who failed to deal with the ball from entering the net.

The Porcupine Warriors took control of the game afterwards but failed to put the ball at the back of the net.

The two teams went into the break with the sides sharing the spoil after 45 minutes.

Kotoko started the second half with a lot of intent at scoring.

Razak Issah committed another blunder to gift Asante Kotoko the second goal which was tapped into the net by Emmanuel Gyamfi.

Gyamfi was quick to react after the Dwarfs goalkeeper failed to deal with the ball which went through his gloves.

Kotoko came close to scoring a third goal through Sarfo Taylor but he failed to direct his shot at goal.

Asante Kotoko after the win have moved to the summit of the league log.

Kotoko captain Emmanuel Gyamfi was adjudged Man of the match after the game.
