NYA donates to Hasaacas Ladies FC ahead of CAF competition

The National Youth Authority (NYA) has made a donation of GHC15,000 to Hasaacas Ladies FC at their office ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League (WAFU Zone B) qualifiers in Ivory Coast after a plead by the Chairperson of the Ghana Women’s Premier League committee, Hillary Boaten.

Director of Finance at NYA, Mr Baba Daney presented the money on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer to the President of Hasaacas Ladies, Nana Bayin Enyison and Brands Manager, Ohene Bampoe-Brenya.

Mr. Baba Daney wished the team the well and urged them to lift the flag of Ghana high in Ivory Coast and qualify for the main competition in Egypt.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the club, Nana Bayin Enyison thanked NYA for their kind gesture.

“We are really surprised by this kind gesture considering the time we are in. We are grateful and we promise to reciprocate by making the whole country proud in Ivory Coast .”- he stated .

Few days go, happyghana.com made a publication of the team’s financial crisis ahead of the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League (WAFU Zone B) qualifiers in Ivory Coast. This got a lot of responses and donations from individuals, corporate offices including the Vice President of the country among others .
