Ghanaian youth and sympathizers of the #FixTheCountry movement have hit the streets of Accra, to embark on the long awaited demonstration, seeking economic relief and equity.

The group says the protest is to put pressure on the government to address the country’s numerous challenges, including youth unemployment.

The group served notice of the demonstration to register its dissatisfaction with the current cost of living in the country.

Demonstrators displayed a myriad of placards with some harsh, realistic and universal inscriptions talking about things that need to be fixed in Ghana.

From bribery and corruption to press freedom, poor sanitation, tribalism, poor infrastructure, poor roads and a host of others, these placards called for change and development.
