Alfred ‘Bukom Bomber’ Lamptey has been on the radar for the past weeks following his upcoming bout against Iddi Kayumba of Tanzania at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The boxer who has promised a knockout and urged spectators to come early not to miss the fight received the President of the Ghana Boxing Authority who then donated a sun of Ghc1,000 towards his preparations.

In a letter signed by the Secretary-General of Ghana Boxing Authority, the leadership sent a good will message to the Ghanaian title contender,

“The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) wishes Alfred Lamptey the very best of luck in his upcoming much anticipated WBO Youth World/ WaBC Youth World Silver Super Featherweight title fight against Iddi Kayumba of Tamzania scheduled for Saturday, 4th September, 2021 at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra.

“The GBA has been monitoring and evaluating his training regime and has no doubt in his intuitive capacity to win the two titles at stake.

The GBA is confident that Alfred Lamptey will successfully win these titles and continue his steady rise towards winning many more success in the ring.

The GBA President, Abraham Kotei Neequaye and the entire Executive Board members, well wishers and the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union wish Alfred Lamptey the very best in the championship bout.

As the statutory body in charge of regulations, promotion, organisation and development of Boxing in Ghana, its imperative to support you both physically and spiritually to win this fight for our homeland Ghana.

The GBA is by this goodwill message wishes to encourage all Ghanaians especially the boxing fraternity to remember Alfred Lamptey in their prayers to help him triumph on Saturday.

We believe in you, Go and make Ghana proud.
