The Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Manager, Julius Ben Emunah, has appealed to various stakeholders to help reduce sports infrastructural deficit in the country.

According to Ben Emunah, the infrastructural deficit in the country in terms of sports is very alarming and has called on all stakeholders to come on board to help.

Speaking in an interview on Wamputu Sports with Odiasempa Kwame Oware on the need for all the various stakeholders to come on board and help in building sporting infrastructure he said”, We have a serious infrastructural deficit and football alone cannot solve this problem.

“Clubs cannot do it alone, the government can’t do it alone even though they have built stadiums already which is not enough. Football is not run in isolation.

“We have an infrastructure deficit in the country and a time will come we may not be able to get venues to play football.

“I will plead with government, private investors, Chiefs, Opinions Leaders, District Chief Executives, MPs, Traditional leaders, Corporate Ghana to come and help because our state of infrastructure is worrying”
