Prophet Gabriel Twumasi of Universal Christ Church has shared some processes for couples to go through before wearing their wedding rings.
He emphasized that the most important part before wearing the ring is getting it purified so, “the first step after purchasing the rings is to get a trusted man of God to do the purification of the rings”.
In an interview with Rev Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s NsemPii he said, “If you also believe in yourself and the God you serve that you can bless it by yourself you can go ahead and do it, you do this by getting any oil of your choice, for example, an olive oil and pray over the rings with oil”.
He shared that, the couple can recite Psalms 51 while anointing their rings.
“You come against any evil eye that will try to come against you or your marriage or you can also speak positive things and any other thing you want to see in your lives as a couple on the ring before wearing it as a sign of a married couple”.
The man of God shared that, amongst the other steps, getting the rings purified is the most important step before wearing them on their fingers and couples should do well not to skip this step for their own good.
