FC Savannah attacked by armed robbers

Savannah Ladies have been attacked by armed robbers on their way to Kumasi for a Women’s Premier League game.

The team bus was ambushed by gun-wielding robbers on the highway as they robbed them of their possessions.

One official of the club got injured and has been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

“Thanks to Allah, the team has arrived safely in Kumasi. All players are fine but one official sustained injuries. Meanwhile the robbers made away with monies of the persons on board. Below are some pictures of our bus after the robbery”, the club gave an update on the incident.
