A young Ghanaian man who identifies himself as Emmanuel, has expressed desire to kill his mother as he blames her for his misfortunes.
Having completed school years back with good grades, Emmanuel has been unable to secure any good job offers, leaving him frustrated.
“After searching for a while and not getting any job, I decided to join a security agency where I was paid 400ghc a month. Although it wasn’t enough, I always sent my mother 100ghc monthly. Things kept becoming worse, so I decided to find out the cause of my misfortune,” he shared.
Talking to Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s BonekaEdition of NsemPii, he said, “I went to see a soothsayer in the Northern region to find out why I was suffering. To my utmost surprise, I was told my mother was the one behind my sufferings.”
Out of doubt, Emmanuel decided to consult a Hare Krishna church. After consulting them, they told him the same thing. “they told me there’s a spirit tormenting me and my mother was responsible for it. They told me she was doing everything to destroy me.”
After the consultation, Emmanuel confronted his mother and she confirmed everything to him.
According to him, his mother said she was preventing his progress because she wanted him to return to the village.
Emmanuel refused to return, pleading with his mother to lift the curse on him, as he believes his success is tied to the capital.
“She asked me to send her an amount of money so she reverses the curse but I don’t have that kind of money. Things have gotten worse for me since 2021 and I want to find every means possible to kill her so I make it in life,” he said out of frustration.
