Your fasting won’t change anything in the ‘Zongos’ -Avraham tells Muslims

Founder and Leader of Common Sense Family, Avraham Ben Moshe, has advised Muslims to stop fasting because it is not in accordance with the Quran.

According to him, Muslims are just starving themselves because, the Quran didn’t ask them to fast for 30days.

Speaking to Rev. Nyansa Boakwa on Happy 98.9FM’s Nsem Pii, he said, “It’s not even in the Quran that they should fast for 30days. I don’t know where they read that from. It’s in the Hafiz and not the Quran yet still they are practicing it.”

To him, their actions mean they are just imitating Prophet Mohammed, as the Hafiz refers to his (Prophet Mohammed) words and works.

“I don’t know where they get all these practices from because, as far as I am concerned, there are some Muslims who have never read the Quran. What most of them know and are known for is violence but, if you claim it is your belief then, you should at least read it and know what the Quran says,” he shared.

Avraham urged Muslims to stop starving themselves and eat because “their fasting and prayers won’t change anything for them nor the society but their efforts will.”
