YFM Ghana has sent out a congratulatory message to contestants of the Rapture II contest who sailed through the auditioning stage.

After the auditioning, 20 contestants from across the triangle proved their prowess with the mic and will battle it out for the ultimate bragging rights for the ‘Rapture El-Supremo’.

Making her way and breaking the barrier to the elimination round for female rappers is Adwoa Owusu Ansah, aka Too Spyce representing the Greater Accra region. As the first female in the contest, she hopes to take home the title of rap God.

Project Lead for Rapture II, Ato Kwamina congratulating the qualifiers shared, “we say ayekoo to our 20 contestants who sailed through the qualifying round. Now comes the hard part, contesting with other great artistes across the regions to show who the best is truly. We encourage healthy competition in the Rapture contest and hope all will have a great experience as always on the YFM platform.”

‘Rapture’ is beautifully and creatively coined from source words Rap + Culture and Future seeks to keep the rap culture alive. ‘Rapture’ will also provide a phenomenal opportunity for Hip-hop to shine.

The winner of Rapture II will take home a whopping GHS 10,000 among other amazing prizes.

Rapture II is supported by e.tv Ghana, HappyFM, 4Syte TV, Black Avenue Musik, Crux Global, Ghanaweb and B&FT.
