The Ghana Football Association Club Licensing Manager, Julius Emunah. has commended the clubs for trying to meet the various criteria in order to secure licenses for their various venues.

The GFA Club Licensing recently embarked on a tour to the various venues across the country for inspection ahead of the start of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League next month.

The team toured facilities that will be used for the Ghana Premier League and the Division One League.

Julius Emunah, the Club Licensing Manager for GFA in an interview on Happy FM said, he is impressed with the level of investment and work being done by the clubs.

“The clubs have come to understand Club Licensing and we must commend them. We as the Club Licensing Board have seen the works being carried out by the various clubs and we are hopeful that by the time we go back we they will meet the criteria”, he told Odiasempa Kwame Oware.

“I am glad with what I have seen in terms of the investment in the infrastructure criteria these clubs are putting in place. We are pleading and calling on politicians, traditional rulers, private people to all come on board to support”, he added

So far only three venues have been conditionally approved for use by the Premier League clubs.
