Breaking the 8: The youth of Ghana have a future because of Akufo-Addo – Gov’t Spokesperson

The government of Ghana’s spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, argues the country’s youth are blessed to have Akufo-Addo as President.

According to him, no other President or political party has seen to the immense level of development President Akufo-Addo has.

“I have never seen any political party which has brought this kind of development than the NPP. The NDC only comes to power only to retrogress the impressive developmental progress made by the NPP. We thank the President for always making Ghanaians and the NPP happy. The youth of Ghana have a future because President Akufo-Addo will break the 8,” he told Don Kwabena Prah on Happy98.9FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ political talk show.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says his only interest is to see the New Patriotic Party (NPP) retain power in 2024 and has no preference for who becomes the presidential candidate for the 2024 elections.

He said his primary interest was to hand over to another NPP president after his tenure, stressing that he would do all he could to ensure victory for the NPP and the flag bearer who would be elected to lead the party.

Speaking on NANDOM FM in the Upper West Region, President Akufo-Addo said he would be neutral in the whole process.

Palgrave Boakye-Danquah expressed confidence President Akufo-Addo will hand over to an NPP President on January 7, 2025.
