The Ghana Football Association together with National Lottery Authority and Ghana Tourism Authority has launched a promotion in a bid to garner support for Ghana’s Senior National team, The Black Stars at this year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Promotion dubbed “Stars4Qatar” is meant to reward Ghanaians who rallied behind the Team during the qualifications and will also love to be in Qatar championing the same course for the Black Stars.

The National Lottery Authority in coming weeks will organize a raffle and will reward 21 lucky winners in a weekly draw selected from all corners of the country with an all-expenses paid trip to Qatar to enjoy the FIFA World Cup slated for November this year.

Interested persons can donate to the short code *899# to be eligible for the draw which comes along with other terms and conditions.

Mr. Bernard Boamah, Marketing Manager at the NLA, at his address at the launch said, the raffle was their way of rallying support for the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup in Qatar and also urged other brands and companies to do the same to solicit funds for the team.

The Ghana Football Association Executive Member, Dr Toni Aubynn commended National Lottery and the Ghana Tourism Authority for initiating this raffle to Ghanaians and also impelled the general public to join the course to join the team in Qatar.

The countdown to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar has officially begun and is set to bring different cultures from across the globe together to enjoy the best of football with Ghana housed in Group H with Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
