Happy 98.9FM Sports Quiz semifinals set for Nov. 8

Nine contestants will battle it out for a place in the final of the 2022 Happy Sports Quiz competition.

The competition which started on September 27, 2022, and was held twice every week on Happy Sports saw a lot of entries with football fans and enthusiasts calling into the show to test their knowledge of the sport.

George Mahamah popularly known as Alan Green moderated the show asking questions mainly based on the World Cup and its history.

Nine winners have successfully made it into the semi-finals during the five weeks that the show runs on Air.

The semifinals will be held on November 8, 2022 and will be live on Happy 98.9FM and e.TV Ghana.

Speaking ahead of the semi-finals Head of Sports for Happy 98.9FM Odiasempa Kwame Oware congratulated the contestants to have reached this stage and urged them to battle for the ultimate.

He also promised listeners of Happy 98.9FM that more exciting programs and surprises will be rolled out during the World Cup period.

The Quiz competition is part of Happy 98.9FM’s pre-World Cup activities ahead of the tournament which kicks start on November 20.
