After two months of opening nominations for the general public to choose their most influential personalities in 2016, over 2,000 Ghanaians nominated various personalities they believe have been influential and deserve to be crowned at this year’s Ghana’s Most Influential Awards.
The Head of Trade and Marketing for Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC), Mrs Naomi Nelson-Barnes, who disclosed this also indicated that the over 2,000 people had a sex split of 92% male and only 8% females.
“The momentum for this year’s awards is building up and the public is eager to see their personality win the coveted title as indicated in the overwhelming entries collated so far”, Naomi said.
Nominations are closed and the list will be reviewed by the auditors for the final 100 to be released for another round of voting to select the winner.
The Ghana’s Most Influential Awards, which is organized by Global Media Alliance is an annual platform aimed at recognizing and celebrating the top 100 most influential Ghanaian personalities as voted by the general public.
