Head coach of Guinean side Milo Football Club Sylla Gaucher is very positive about his side’s chances ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round match-up against winners of Ghana’s MTN FA Cup competition, Dreams FC.

Guinean side Milo Football Club have been drawn against Dreams FC in the first round of qualifiers for the 2023/24 CAF Confederations Cup.

The draw, which was done today, July 25, will see Milo FC begin their continental journey against the Still Believe boys.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Happy FM’s Wamputu Sports with Joe Debrah, coach Sylla revealed his excitement ahead of his side’s clash against Dreams FC since this will be their first encounter.

He reiterated his side’s readiness ahead of the 2023/23 CAF CC campaign saying they would be a very fierce force to reckon with in this year’s tournament.

Coach Sylla added that since his team has tasted African football, they have an edge over Dreams FC, who will be making their first appearance there.

Milo FC will be making their second appearance in the competition after making their first last year.

Dreams FC on the other hand secured a ticket to the CAF Confederations Cup following their victory over King Faisal in the final of the FA Cup.

They will be making a maiden appearance on the continent since their establishment and play the first leg of the encounter against Milo at home.

The second leg of the fixture will take place a week later in Kankan.
