Arsene Wenger, the legendary former manager of Arsenal who served the team for an impressive 22 years, now has a statue in his honour at the Emirates Stadium.

From 1996 to 2018, the North London club was managed by the Frenchman who achieved great success. He won three Premier League titles, one of which was an unbeaten league campaign, a record yet to be repeated by any other Premier League club. He also won seven FA Cup titles and led the team in the Champions League for two decades.

🚨Arsène Wenger is the most successful manager in FA Cup history, winning the competition seven times and is the only manager in English football history to complete a 38-game top-flight season without losing a single match.

Wenger took over from Nagoya Grampus Eight and succeeded in elevating the Gunners’ performance on the field and managing the club’s move from Highbury to the Emirates.

Following his incredible achievement with the North London side, the club have finally shown grand appreciation by mounting a bronze statue of the 73-year-old.

“It’s such a great tribute that the club has done something special for Arsène that he fully deserves and merits,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta told Arsenal club media. “With a statue now at the stadium, Arsène can have that recognition and be here at our club forever.

Wenger graces Emirates Stadium as the esteemed guest of honour for Arsenal’s pre-season friendly against Monaco next week.
