The Surgery for Madam Henrietta Amoah, who was doused with acid by her boyfriend has been boosted after Happy FM topped up the initial tentative cost of $12,500 with an additional $6,000.
This follows a request by the medical team in New Delhi, India where the surgery is taking place, for more money due to the severity of the acid attack on the lady.
Listeners of Happy FM, who had initially helped to raise $12,500 which was the estimated cost of the surgery by the team in India, put together some $6, 000 more after Pastor Nyansa Boakwa, host of award winning show ‘Nsem Pii’, had given them a progress report of the surgery.
The first phase of the surgery has been successful and she is expected to undergo three more, which is expected to correct the defect which has rendered her almost blind.

Henrietta suffered this ordeal when her boyfriend who claimed she was cheating on him, doused her with acid while she was taking her bath at Osu where she resides. Her whole face and head were gravely burnt and deformed.
Madam Henrietta Amoah shared her painful story on Happy FM’s ‘Nsem Pii’ show hosted by Pastor Nyansa Boakwa and listeners who got touched by her story donated massively to support her surgery and other medical expenses in New Delhi, India.
Nsem Pii airs on Happy FM every weekday from 12pm to 2pm.
