Aziz Haruna Futa, the Founder of Hearts Chapter O and a former Management member of Hearts of Oak has criticized the current leadership of the club’s National Chapters Committee (NCC).

Futa voiced his disapproval, stating that there was no need for the NCC to apologize to the Board of Directors for expressing their grievances.

Futa emphasized that throughout the club’s history, previous administrations had organized various demonstrations and faced significant issues.

However, despite these challenges, the NCC and the Board of Directors always remained present at meetings, highlighting that such interactions were vital for the club’s interests.

The apology, which was issued by the NCC, was a response to an incident that led to the dismissal of the club’s former coach, Slavko Matic.

The incident involved certain supporters’ wrongful acts and unprofessional behavior, which prevented Matic from training with the players.

“I do not understand the current leadership of the club’s National Chapters Committee. You don’t have to apologize for making your resentments known. During the time of previous administrations, they held a series of demonstrations and there were many serious issues but whenever there was a meeting whatsoever, the NCC and Board of Directors still represented because it is in the interest of the club,” Futa said on Happy FM.

In the aftermath of the apology’s publication, the NCC Chairman of Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse, expressed his disappointment.

Hesse disapproved of the club’s decision to publish the said apology, seemingly indicating a division of opinions within the club’s management.
