Football Administrator, Eugene Nobel Noel has asserted that football is an avenue for making money hence losses shouldn’t be incurred. His declaration comes on the back of his official decision to contest the upcoming GFA Exco elections.

Eugene Nobel will contest for the Division One League Executive Council Position ahead of the September 27 Ghana Football Association (GFA) Elections.

The former council member of the Ghana League Clubs Association, Eugene Noble believes football has improved but needs someone like himself who has the experience to develop Division one League football.

Speaking on Happy Sports with Ohene Bampoe Brenya he said” Football is a business and people invest hoping to gain returns and if proper measures are put in place there will be gains for all and not just the investors. If elected, I would make sure such initiatives are undertaken. ”

Five aspirants submitted their forms on Friday, August 11, 2023, for the Division One League Exco positions which will be held in Tamale during the GFA elections.

He would have to beat competition from heavyweights like Mark Addo, the Vice President of the GFA, Gideon Fosu, Samuel Anim Addo, and Alexander Ababio.
