Dreams FC Coach Karim Zito confident ahead of CAF Confederation Cup clash with Milo FC

Head Coach of Ghana Premier League club, Dreams FC, Karim Zito has expressed his unwavering optimism ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup first round matchup against Milo FC.

Dreams FC were drawn against Guinean side Milo Football Club in the first round of qualifiers for the 2023/24 CAF Confederations Cup.The draw was on Tuesday, July 25 2023.

According to coach Zito, he is anticipating a triumphant progression to the next stage and ultimately gracing the group stages of the prestigious competition.

He affirmed that Dreams FC are not just carrying the dreams of their team, but the aspirations of an entire nation.

“It’s not just Dreams FC representing in the CAF Confederations Cup tournament; it’s Ghana being represented likewise Medeama SC. We are both representing the country in both competitions. We need the prayers of Ghanaians, and I’m confident we would qualify to the next round and finally make the group stages of the competition,” Coach Zito declared with conviction in an interview on Happy FM.

Coach Zito encouraged everyone in the country to come together and support Dreams FC as they try to win.

Dreams FC’s ascension to the CAF Confederations Cup was earned after defeating King Faisal 2-1 in an enthralling final of the 2023 MTN FA Cup.

They will be aiming to script a tale of victory and progress in their maiden continental campaign come Saturday, 19 August 2023.
