Tovila Water Solutions, a leading provider of water treatment and solutions in Ghana, has taken a remarkable step towards addressing water scarcity and promoting safe drinking water.

In an enterprising event that merged artistry and philanthropy, the company proudly unveiled the talented poet, Nakeeyat Dramani, as its brand ambassador. Simultaneously, Tovila Water Solutions launched the Tovila-Nakeeyat Community Water Project, a game-changing initiative with great emphasis on water safety and combating water scarcity in various communities across the country.

The launch, held in Accra, Ghana, witnessed the participation of significant stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs focused on climate issues, and local community representatives. Notable figures in attendance included representatives from the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources, the Assembly Man for Dormeabra, and the Community School Headteacher.

Speaking at the event, Tony Lawal, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Technical Director at Tovila Water Solutions, emphasized the project’s mission. “The Tovila-Nakeeyat Community Water Project signifies a powerful partnership aimed at alleviating water scarcity issues affecting numerous communities, particularly in the Dormeabra district. This initiative encompasses several key objectives, including water safety, sustainability, and responsible water management in these identified communities.”-

Addressing the decision to choose Nakeeyat, he added. “She’s comes across as the best brand to us because she has a background and inspiring drive on climate issues.”

Nakeeyat, known for her passionate advocacy on climate issues, expressed her commitment to the cause. She said, “I was inspired to do something about these alarming issues because, based on the research, some years to come, we’re going to have worse situations, and that is what has ignited my drive for climate issues. I’m very happy to be the brand ambassador of Tovila, and I’m confident we’re going to bring water solutions across the country.”

Local community leaders also shared their perspectives on the initiative, highlighting their longstanding concerns about water scarcity and the high cost of purchasing water. They expressed confidence in Tovila Water Solutions’ promise to resolve these issues.

“We’ve been battling water issues for a long time and sharing the water dam with animals. We’re struggling with the high cost of purchasing water. Now we’ve been blessed with Tovila Water Solutions who promises to resolve this issue and we are very confident that for a long time we are provided with water solutions.”

Mr. Lawal however advocated for support from government and corporate bodies and other NGOs to help make the initiative a resounding success.

The unveiling of Nakeeyat the Poet as the brand ambassador of Tovila Water Solutions and the launch of the TOVILA-Nakeeyat Community Water Project is a significant step towards addressing water scarcity and promoting safe drinking water alternatives. This initiative showcases Tovila’s dedication to sustainable water solutions and its commitment to making clean water accessible to all.
