Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak, ahead of their first league match against Real Tamale United (RTU) on Friday, September 15 are poised for action. The club’s Communications Director, Opare Addo in an interview on Happy FM, expressed optimism about their chances in this crucial opener.

“This is a big moment for us. We’re eager to kick off the season with a win and give our fans something to cheer about.”

Hearts of Oak, known for its rich football history, has been working hard to prepare for the new season and has been in devastating form in their preseason games. Addo stressed the importance of teamwork and unity among the players. “Our team spirit is high, and we’re ready to shine this season.”

While they respect RTU as a formidable opponent, Addo believes in his team’s abilities. “We’re going into this match with a winning mindset. Our players are focused, and we want to start the season strong.”

The match is expected to draw passionate fans to the stadium. Addo thanked the fans for their support, saying, “Our fans inspire us, and we want to give them a great performance.”

Hearts of Oak will aim to avoid a repeat of their disastrous previous season as the club pursues a fresh direction, having finished in 12th place.

They have appointed Dutch trainer Martin Koopman to steer the affairs of the club this season.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 6 p.m at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
