The National Service Scheme(NSS) has officially announced the dispatch of the 2023/2023 batch of National Service Personnel (NSP) to various institutions nationwide to commence their one-year mandatory service to the nation

The NSP who count up to 122,275 include the year 2023 eligible Ghanaian graduates from accredited tertiary institutions in the country, defaulters who submitted their applications for postings, and private registrants.

Due to the varying academic calendars of tertiary institutions, the National Service Scheme has set Monday, October 16, 2023 for regional validation and registration. This will give prospective service personnel adequate time to complete their respective academic programmes.

A press statement issued by the NSS on Friday September 29, 2023, states that the 2023/2024 National Service year will begin on Wednesday, 1st November 2023.

The press statement signed by the Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Osei Assibey Antwi ,noted that management does not support change of postings, and cautioned personnel to avoid getting in touch with faceless individuals or groups who claim to have the means to change postings.
