CAF President Patrice Motsepe congratulates Kurt Okraku on re-election as GFA president

The President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, has sent a congratulatory message to Kurt Okraku, following his successful re-election as the President of Ghana’s football federation.

Kurt Okraku secured an overwhelming 97.5% of the votes cast, reaffirming his position as the leader of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). In a statement addressed to Mr. Okraku, Dr. Motsepe conveyed his best wishes for the GFA boss.

Dr. Motsepe acknowledged the trust and confidence that the members have placed in Mr. Okraku’s leadership, highlighting his excellent work in promoting and developing football in Ghana and across the African continent. He also expressed his anticipation of working alongside Mr. Okraku in the coming years.

Kurt Okraku will continue to serve as the President of the GFA until October 2027.
