In an interview on Happy 98.9 FM's "Epa Hoa Daben" with Sefah Danquah, Theophilus Tei Ayanu Head of the Express Mail Service (EMS) at Ghana Post, discussed the evolving role of postal services in today's digital age. “Indeed digitalization and technology has come to change a lot of things but we’re still significant and one of Ghana’s most essential service delivery agencies. The internet has helped but mostly you’ll need someone to bring the physical products to your door step and that is how we come in and deliver efficiently,” he said. Mr. Ayanu also stressed the significance of World Post Day and emphasized that World Post Day serves as a vital platform to educate the public about the enduring importance of postal services. He further acknowledged the role of the internet in facilitating modern communication but stressed that there is still an undeniable need for physical product delivery. Many individuals and businesses rely on EMS to ensure prompt and efficient delivery to their doorsteps. He reiterated that it is working on innovative products and services aimed at enhancing the quality of its service delivery, offering an even better experience for its valued customers. “World Post Day is reserved to educate the public about the importance of postal services. "Just as the world keeps evolving, we also have some exciting products and upcoming products that we believe will better our service delivery dealing with customers,” he said.
