Achimota Rastafarian boy scores 8As in WASSCE; social media excited

Social media is echoing with rounds of applause for Achimota Senior High School Rastafarian boy who aced all subjects in the just released 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.

The Motown alumnus identified as, Marhguy Tyrone Iras faced challenges assertions when he gained admission two years ago into the Accra based school.

In March 2021, Marhguy and Oheneba Kwaku Nkrabea, were denied admission after reporting on their first day in dreadlocks .

Marhguy Tyrone Iras has caused a significant shift regarding perceptions carried by the Ghanaian society about Rastafarians, and stands as a pacesetter to a more receptive response in embracing foreign culture within the average Ghanaian society.
