AIRTAD 2024: Yamoransa Model Lab Gambia beats Legon-Presec to win 2024 AIRTARD & Robotics Competitions

Yamoransa Model Lab Gambia and Lab 7 have been crowned champions of the 2024 Annual Impact and Round Table Discussion (AIRTAD) and Robotics Competition.

Yamoransa Model Lab Gambia won the AIRTAD & Robotics Competition for the SHS category after beating of competition from Legon-Presec, Aburi Girls SHS and Labone SHS.

Lab Gambia won with 112 votes in 4 rounds followed by Labone SHS with 92 while Aburi Girls and Presec accumulated 59 and 64 votes respectively.

In the Basic School category, Lab 7 won the competition with 98 votes, followed by Lab 5 with 78, 67 votes for Lab 2, Lab 11 58 votes with Lab 1 and 2 pulling 44 and 43 votes respectively.

The 2024 AIRTAD and Robotics Competition powered by the Yamoransa Model Lab was held at the UPSA Auditorium in Accra from Monday, February 25 to Wednesday February 28.

Below are the results of the department awards that were presented at the ceremony:

2nd Runner Up – Lab 10

1st Runner Up – Lab 3.1

Winner – Lab 7

Best Centre Manager

2nd Runner Up – Lap 3.1

1st Runner Up – Lab 8

Winner – Lab 6

Exhibition awards – Most innovating product

2nd Runner Up – Lap 12

1st Runner Up – Lab 11

Winner lab 8

Most sustainable lab

2nd Runner Up – Lab 11

1st Runner Up – Lab 7

Winner – Lab 8
