Ghana’s Benjamin Azamati finished 5th in the men’s 100 metre final race.
The poster boy of Ghana’s athletics team finished the race with 10.45 seconds while missing out on a medal.
Barnabas Aggerh who was the second Ghanaian in the race finished 6 with 10.50 seconds.
Emmanuel Eseme of Cameroon won the gold medal with 10.14 seconds while Nigeria’s Itsekri Usheoritse secured the silver medal with 10.23 seconds.
Bronze medal went to Namibia’s Gilbert Hainuca.
