Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants, Accra Hearts of Oak, have announced a significant restructuring of their board of directors, signaling a new era for the club.

The announcement, made on Wednesday March 27, unveils a blend of seasoned veterans and fresh perspectives poised to steer the club to greater heights.

Togbe Afede XIV, the club’s esteemed majority shareholder, retains his pivotal role as chairman, ensuring continuity and stability at the helm of affairs.

Alongside him, the revamped board welcomes several familiar faces, including the likes of former CEOs Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Vincent Sowah-Odotei, and Ivy Heward-Mills, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.

However, it’s not just about maintaining the status quo; the board also welcomes a cohort of fresh talents and perspectives. Among the notable additions are Kenneth Ashigbey, the esteemed first vice-president of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA), Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, a distinguished managing consultant of Asemaku Consult, and Akwasi Agyeman, the dynamic CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA). Agyemang Badu Akosa, a highly respected retired head of the Department of Pathology at the University of Ghana (UG) Medical School, joins the ranks, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and insight.
