Kasapreko was the biggest winner at the maiden Ghana Beverage Awards as they took home three awards at the colourful event held at the Accra City Hotel last Friday.
The beverage manufacturer carried the ultimate award Product of the Year and Bitters of The Year with its flagship brand Alomo Bitters.
With its recent investment of about $70 million to boost its factory production lines, a bold move lauded by industry experts to create more jobs in the Ghanaian economy, Kasapreko was also adjudged the beverage Manufacturer of the Year.
The Brands Manager for Kasapreko, Eugene Ntreh, expressed gratitude for the recognition and also thanked organizers for putting together an event which recognizes the beverage industry.
Mr. Ntreh stated that the company’s hardwork, innovation and growth exhibited over the past two decades have brought about these awards.
“We have made a remarkable footprint throughout our journey in becoming a total beverage company. Our efforts have always been to satisfy the changing needs of our consumers. We dedicate these awards to all our stakeholders and our consumers for supporting us,” Mr. Ntreh said.
Kasapreko is a true representation of an authentically Ghanaian corporate brand. The business was birthed out of a goal to provide quality drinks at affordable prices for the Ghanaian; a vision that has now expanded to a global focus.
Organized by Global Media Alliance in partnership with all the relevant stakeholders, Ghana Beverage Awards is the first industry-based awards scheme that recognizes and celebrates excellence in the beverage industry.
