The Ghana Armwrestling Federation on Thursday organized a Basic and Introductory Armwrestling training for coaches of the Security Services in Ghana.
The event which was highly patronized by personel from the Ghana Armed Forces (Navy/Military/Airforce), Police, Fire, Immigration, Prisons, GRA (CEPS) is an introduction to the Training of the Trainer Program by the Ghana Armwrestling Federation.
Participants were taken through the rules, techniques and jargons in the sport of Armwrestling.
Meanwhile, former Deputy Sports Minister and Patron of SWAG Hon Joe Aggrey has commended the presidents of Ghana Armwrestling Federation and Beach Soccer for their involvement in sports administration in Ghana.
The former SWAG president said “I feel excited to see sports journalist take up the mantle to administer sports after years of sports writing and broadcasting. Now is the time to act what you preached”.
