Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has praised the establishment of the North East Region, citing it as a catalyst for remarkable growth and development. He noted that over 300 infrastructure projects have been completed since the region’s creation, demonstrating significant progress.
During a meeting with local clergy as part of his nationwide tour in the North East Region, Dr. Bawumia reaffirmed his dedication to accelerating development in the region if elected to lead a new NPP government.
“The North East region has seen significant development in recent years, with 378 projects completed over the last seven years. Additionally, there are 138 ongoing projects, which will be completed soon. Notably, 93 of these projects involve the construction of new classroom blocks, enhancing educational infrastructure in the region,” he said
