The Young Stallions of Burkina Faso booked their place in the last four with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Niger on Thursday morning.

Their initial match on Wednesday was rained out, forcing a reschedule. A first-half goal by Latif Junior Diaby proved to be the winner, propelling Burkina Faso to the second-place spot in Group B, just behind Nigeria on goal difference.

Now, the stage is set for an exciting encounter between Ghana and Burkina Faso at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday May 25 at 3pm.

The Black Starlets will be looking to capitalize on home advantage and secure a place in the final. Meanwhile, the Young Stallions will be determined to cause an upset and continue their journey in the tournament.

The other semi-final clash will see Nigeria face off against Côte d’Ivoire, promising another thrilling match-up. Both semi-finals will be played at the University of Ghana Stadium at 3pm and 6pm respectively.
