Meanwhile, Christiano Ronaldo off his record-extending sixth European Championship after a failed attempt on Monday despite Portugal’s 3-1 win against Slovania, prepares for a defining match as Portugal’s instrumental striker, against France.

this Friday, standing as one of the several players who can become the oldest goalscorer at a European Championship.

The 39-year-old, should his balls find the net in this summer’s fixture against France, will surely make him Euros oldest goal scorer.
