President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially appointed Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, Majority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, as the new Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Board.
This appointment, as stated in a letter signed by Secretary to the President, Ambassador Nana Bediatuo Asante solidifies Afenyo-Markin’s position as the leader of the ECG Board, tasked with overseeing the affairs of the company.
Alexander Afenyo-Markin, the new Chairman of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Board, succeeds Herbert Krapa, who has been appointed Minister of State at the Energy Ministry.
