Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that Ghanaian youth are well-positioned to compete globally.

He attributed this to several key initiatives which include the widespread issuance of the Ghana Card, the implementation of the National Digital Property Address System, increased financial inclusion through Mobile Money Interoperability, and the forthcoming introduction of a Credit Scoring system.

Addressing a forum on International Youth Day in Accra on August 12, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that these efforts lay a solid foundation for creating and sustaining businesses, jobs, and other opportunities for Ghanaian youth in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

“With the mass issuance of the Ghana Card, implementation of the National Digital Property Address System, greater financial inclusion through Mobile Money Interoperability and the upcoming roll out of a Credit Scoring system, all is set for Ghanaian youth to compete favourably with their peers across the globe.”

He assured that the government remains committed to further advancements, with plans to focus on land and chieftaincy administrations starting in 2025, aiming to enhance the lives of Ghanaians even more.
