The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has declared that he is the most suitable candidate to lead Ghana, citing his impressive achievements as Vice President.

During a stakeholder engagement at the Kasoa Odekro Palace, as part of his tour of the Awutu Senya East constituency on Monday September 2, Dr. Bawumia stated that he is widely regarded as the most accomplished Vice President in Ghana’s history.

He highlighted his instrumental role in implementing 33 government policies, a feat he contrasted with the record of former President John Dramani Mahama who is the flagbearer of the National DemocraticCongress(NDC), who also served as Vice President but did not achieve similar milestones.

Dr. Bawumia urged Ghanaians to support his presidential bid, promising to bring a fresh and transformative leadership style, which he termed as “brand new tear rubber” approach, to drive the nation forward.
