Lariba Zuweira Abudu withdraws from Walewale Parliamentary primaries

Hajia Lariba Zuweira, Member of Parliament for Walewale constituency has announced her withdrawal from the Walewale Parliamentary primary.

According to her, the inconclusive re-run of the Parliamentary primary in the constituency with the electoral commission unable to declare results due to an unfortunate incident, she will no longer be a candidate for MP in the 2024 elections.

In a statement dated September 10, 2024, the incumbent Member of Parliament for Walewale stated that her decision is to foster unity and peace in the party and the Constituency as well.

She expressed her profound gratitude to the party for the honour of allowing her to represent the Constituency over the last four years and pledged to continue and support the party in the 2024 election campaign.
