Hubert Baidoo, Lead Economic Analyst for the New Force, has noted that the issues Ghana faces is a complex one, which demands complex solutions. According to him the New Force appreciates the complexity of the problems and will take a multi-level approach to solve them. Speaking to Fati Shaibu-Ali on Happy 98.9’s Happy Morning Show he said, “You don’t just start solving such problems. You have to build it from ground up and our leaders know about all these loopholes but are unwilling to solve it because everything turns back to them and gives absolute power to them, so they are unwilling to change those structures but these structures will continue to hinder the country from growing”.

He added that the 16 regions of Ghana must be semi autonomous.
“We always say it but don’t implement it and also don’t disclose how it’ll be done but, New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako is the first candidate to say we need to appoint CEO’s. We need to replace ministers with CEO’s for them to execute duties to make the region profitable”, he said.

He believes that regions must be run as a corporation because they are sub national units.
“So we need to build, We need to build other regions apart from Accra for instance, We need to build everywhere like Kumasi, Bolgatanga, Tamale but, it should be an upgraded version of what we have in Accra” he emphasized.
Hubert disclosed the nation needs deliberate consciousness to build up and rival the likes of Dubai, Singapore and other developed countries.
